It was a very cold morning out in the woods, just about perfect to enjoy one of the easiest recipes I know to prepare bannock bread!

In this case I stuffed the bannock bread with some nice cheese that really melted deliciously between the layers of my bannock.

This camping recipe is perfect for when you don’t want the hassle of having to clean up your pan and don’t want the outdoor critters rummaging through your stuff at night 😉

The baking paper trick I show in the video will keep everything nice and clean. Also, there is no risk of the bannock sticking to your skillet or pan and breaking up as with fried bannock!

The bannock recipe I used is as follows, but as I mention in the video any instant pizza crust mix will work like a charm in this recipe:

1 cup flour
1/4 cup milk powder
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon oil
Enough water to make a flaky dough
